Our History & Where We Work

History and Overview

Precision Surveillance Corporation (PSC) was founded in 1986. Since then our company has provided post-tensioning In-Service Inspections (surveillances) for nuclear power plant containments throughout the USA and also Canada. We utilize our qualified inspectors, craftsmen and use our specially designed equipment to provide a turnkey project creating minimal disruption to normal site activities. We utilize our audited 10CFR 50 Appendix B Quality Program to develop a testing procedure and detailed report verifying that your plant’s system meets the requirements of ASME Section XI, Subsection IWL code year requirements.

Our vast experience gained from not only inspections, but also removal, fabrication and replacement of tendons during the Steam Generator Replacements, has allowed PSC to become the leading US Company for nuclear post-tensioning inspections. Our history and industry knowledge, along with our extensive design experience with post-tensioning repair and replacement, provides us with unparalleled insight and understanding of this critical safety-related component.

Our team of Quality Professionals, Engineers and Project Managers are ready to utilize their extensive experience to test and confirm that your containment will meet regulatory requirements for the duration of your plant life.

Our skilled nuclear workforce has allowed us to provide enhanced lifting and transportation solutions inside the containment. We utilize knuckleboom cranes on designed fixtures and specialized transporters to quickly and safely move materials from the equipment hatch to all areas of the containment. This prevents waiting for the Polar Crane and can result in significant time saving or many hours across a full outage.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to exceed the expectations of nuclear power plants by solving their logistical, fabrication and construction challenges with innovative, cost-effective solutions that are delivered with the highest level of efficiency, professionalism, quality and safety assurance.
